☀️ With the nicer weather finally here, we’re seeing more motorbikes out on the roads — and sadly, an increase in motorcycle collisions. As the days get brighter, let’s all do our bit to keep each other safe.

🚗 For Drivers

• Look twice at junctions — bikes are smaller and can be hidden in your blind spots.
• Check mirrors before changing lanes or opening doors.
• Give riders space when overtaking — at least 1.5 metres.
• Be patient — many riders are still finding their confidence as the season starts.
• Avoid distractions; a split-second lapse can have serious consequences.

🏍️ For Motorcyclists

• Wear full protective gear — even in warm weather.
• Make yourself visible with lights and bright clothing.
• Ride within your limits — early-season roads can still have gravel, potholes, and debris.
• Position yourself safely in traffic to maximise your visibility.
• Stay alert to drivers who may not be expecting bikes back on the road yet.
